Bakrie Telecom is a pioneer of Indonesia’s telecommunications industry. The company provides affordable fixed wireless, limited mobility and wireless data services to individuals and corporations and is the fastest growing fixed wireless telecom operator in Indonesia. When Bakrie Telecom adopted spectrum-efficient Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology, the company positioned itself to become a nationwide operator. The move paid immediate dividends. In one quarter alone, Bakrie Telecom’s prepaid and postpaid fixed mobile customer base more than doubled, to 14.4 million subscribers. But the increased demand for Bakrie’s services also created an explosion in subscriber and traffic data, testing the limits of the company’s information management systems.

Bakrie’s rapid subscriber growth, new service offerings and network expansions caused data volumes to surge across every department of the company, from sales and marketing to CRM and revenue assurance.
